So Here We Go
So here's the story. I just turned 30 last month. Not an earthshattering experience but I realized shortly thereafter that I had put on about 30 pounds in the last two years. So I made a decision. I refuse to be 30 and FAT!
One of my new years resolutions for 2006 is to start eating healthier and drinking more water and getting regular exercise in order to lose about 30 pounds. If I can accomplish this I will be down to 133 pounds. (actually I would be happy at about 10 pounds heavier than that but why not set a harder goal right?)
I know what I need to do to get there but the hardest part is starting and sticking to the exercise part. I am always very gung ho at the start and then get bored nearly immediately...either that or I overdo it and burn out within a couple of weeks.
So anyways...there it is..my reason for starting this blog. I am planning on using it as a way to hold myself accountable for my eating and exercise habits. Let's see what unfolds.
